Just had the realization in my technocultural studies class that our oceans are turning into dead zones with all of the waste that we pump into them. Perhaps we can do something about it: Eating organically to reduce the impact of the fertilizer runoff which contributes to toxic red tide algae. Consuming less plastic to reduce the amount of plastic in the ocean and on beaches. there are entire beaches of just plastic waste! We can look at this as an opportunity to see how much good change we can make! go Humans! Go EARTH!
